The National War Memorial
At the National War Memorial we learnt about how NZ fought in the war and how 1/3 of the soldiers that died (9,000) were never identified. We also laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown warrior and payed our respects.

Parliament
Today our group went to parliament. We learnt a lot from Lynette the tour guide and we had a lot of fun looking in all of the rooms. I also enjoyed listening to Jackie Deans, one of the members of parliament from Waitaki.

Wellington
Hi, I'm Connor and I'm in Wellington for this week and I've already learned so much and I only came in yesterday. I went on a train, a ferry and seen the outside of parliament which has been so much fun and can't wait to see more.

Wind Statues
A calm trip on the Kaitaki despite the wind on deck 10. All part of the ferry experience.
